Voyageur Canoe Programs

Free Voyageur Canoe Tours at 11 am 12 pm 3 pm 4 pm 

Voyageur Canoe Races: 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm 

• Full team of 10 racers 

• Individual Registrations Welcome 

• ONLY $20 per person (for the racers only)

 

Voyageur Canoe Tug-of-War 4:00pm to 5:00pm 

Moon Shadow Paddling: 8:30pm to 9:30pm

• Bring you own lighted kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, OR

• join us in our Voyageur Canoes

Race information

ARE YOU INTENDING TO BE A RACER AT THE 2023 PADDLEFEST? Here are some more details you need to know in order to enter a team or to be part of a crew:

The Voyageur Canoe Racing will be from 1:00 – 3:30 pm on Sat. June 17, 2023 at Lower Reach Park.

Racing teams are made up of 10 paddlers with $20 paddling fee per person.

 

Pfd’s and paddles are provided, but paddles can use their own.

There are room for eight teams.

If you have a full team of 10 members, you can name your own team, designate one person to be the main contact and captain.

All participants in any of the Voyageur Canoe events of the day (tours, tug-of-war and moon shadow paddling) will have to sign a waiver form and turn it in on the day of the race. The waivers can be found below:

Participation in the races and race events will be on a first come first served basis in the order of the receipt of etransfer of the racing fee ($20 per individual or $200 per team)

etransfers for registration can be made to : treasurer.paddlefest@rideauroundtable.ca

In the etransfer memo field, please indicate that you are registering as a racer or as a team for the 2023 Paddlefest and provide your contact information (name, email and phone).

Groups and individuals are to report to the registration table NO LATER THAN 20 minutes before racing time for waiver form collection, equipment fitting and safety briefing.
